LAST TRAINING CYCLE FOR THIS YEAR STARTED WITH OPENING CEREMONY

At HBIS GROUP Serbia, on October 19th, last of this year international training started under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade of the People's Republic of China. The organizers of these trainings are the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) and HBIS Group.

 

Apart from the representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Serbia, AIBO Academy and representatives of HBIS GROUP Serbia, Branimir Stojanovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, attended the opening ceremony.

 

"The Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China have established a comprehensive strategic cooperation, and this is confirmed by the fact that China is the largest trading partner of our country in Asia. Serbia understands the strategic importance of the "One Belt, One Way" initiative, and sees a chance for its further economic progress. By purchasing Smederevo steel plant, the cooperation of the two countries has been raised to an even higher economic level. This opened the door for future Chinese investments," Stojanovic said.

 

Tang Siaodong (Tang Xiaodong), Economic and Trade Affairs Advisor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Serbia, introduced the attendees with previous training results. Over the past two years, 16 trainings for over 2,500 employees in HBIS GROUP Serbia have been organized. These trainings significantly raised the level of knowledge, improved the management system and improved work capacity. That is why, according to him, training will continue in the next year.

 

Wang Wende, Deputy Director of HBIS Group Tangsteel, expressed his gratitude for the support that this factory has and pointed out that thanks to it, everyone working here has a greater motivation. "The goal is for HBIS GROUP Serbia to become one of the best factories for the production of iron and steel in this part of Europe in the next 3 to 5 years. The training cycle that is starting today favors this idea, because it shows that we have a desire for continuous improvement, "said Wang.

 

Anđelka Pejović, employee of HBIS Serbia, thanked for the experience gained during these trainings held in China, offering her new knowledge. "I am convinced that what all we had learned in training will contribute to the better work and progress of our factory," she said.
